Firefox crashes whenever I try to download something from Audible.com. My computer also crashes when I try to update Firefox on my computer.

Posted

I have tried the work arounds that Firefox suggests and I have been in contact with Audible.com. I have also run a malware scan and rebooted my computer.

Hi TerriB

Your crashes are caused by a program from Audible Inc (AudibleExt.dll) as you can see in the crash reports ([@ audibleext.dll@0x11639 ]).

So you will have to uninstall or disable that program.

I thought the problem could be fixed if I updated Firefox. The Firefox browser also crashes when I am trying to update Firefox.
