Java applets don't work under 32-bit mode. What can I do?
Java applets don't work with Firefox under 32-bit mode and I must use Firefox this way. I am using Mountain Lion and the last versions of Java and Firefox available. What can I do?

Applets just don't show in 32-bit mode. Tried Firefox in 64-bit mode and had no problem at all. But I need to be able to do it in 32-bit mode.
Unfortunately there are no official 32-bit versions of Java for mac. You might want to give SoyLatte a try if you are willing to go with an unofficial version without Aqua integration.
Do you have a 32 bit Java version installed (if there is such a version for Mac)?
A 64-bit browser (Safari or Firefox, for example) is required to run Java 7 on Mac OS X. Java 7 does not support 32-bit browsers such as Chrome on the Mac platform.
Is there a Java 6 version available for your OS?
Hey you guys! Thanks so much for replying so fast!
I didn't know about this soylatte project… I'm trying installing that now which is no easy task: soylate needs macports and openmotif… and they need Xcode… so when I'm done I hope it works and I'll let you know!
