I'm trying to personalize Firefox and I was running into some problems. I'd like to have an installed font, Leros, to be applied everywhere. Things are going allright, but if I select the font in userChrome.css, it won't work. I was curious so I chose another font, Dovah, a nonsense-font since it's from a game language, and it showed up fine. I just tried applying Leros as default font for monospace fonts in the Preferences menu, but it doesn't show up there.

What is this? How do I use the Leros font for customizing Firefox? If even Dovah can be selected...

If that is a bitmap (raster) type font then it may not work in Firefox.

It is. So Firefox simply doesn't support bitmap fonts? Damn.

I'm not sure about that, but the font may be broken or incompatible if you can't select it.

Any luck with hardware acceleration (or direct write) disabled?
