I downloaded this new update and it didn't work at all. I again had to uninstall and reinstall Adobe 10.3. I don't want to keep going through this. How can I find out when a new update works with Firefox? Does anyone know if Firefox is working on an update as I'm having a few problems with that too.

Chosen solution

I imagine this article will be updated when the Flash conflicts are fully resolved: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox.

What are your other Firefox problems? Firefox 14 is in beta now. You could try it, but it might make more sense to see whether you are experiencing a known issue first.

I think I resolved all my problems in Firefox. Now I'll just see when Adobe comes up with an update that actually works with Firefox. I will keep checking that page and not install a new update until I know it works.

I'm having a problem with Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.265. While trying to play either games or to watch videos, it REALLY slows down and then it'll crash. Any solutions for this problem. please reply.

Hi crazycappy, are you running Windows Vista or Windows 7? You might consider disabling the new protected mode in Flash 11.3, since that feature is currently being debugged. See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?

If you are running Windows XP, MacOS or Linux, then never mind, the above is not applicable to you.

I've read what I had to do under the "Last Resort" section of that article. I went to add the "ProtectedMode=0" but I get a message from my computer that says "Access to C:\Windows\System 32\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg was denied. Oh and I also have Windows Vista. Any other suggestions?

Hi crazycappy, as noted in the article, you can save the file in a lower security location first, then drag it to the ultimate destination folder. Or you have to start your text editor using Run as Administrator. (At least this is true in Windows 7, so I assume Vista is similar.)

Prior to my previous reply back to you I had it saved on MS wordpad, so what I was able to do was delete it, and now everything is running much faster.

Thanks for the help my friend.
