Out-of-control page down for Adobe Reader

When I view a PDF with Adobe Reader within Firefox, and click in the scroll bar to page down more than once, the browser starts scrolling down rapidly over and over until I click somewhere within the document I'm viewing. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium and Firefox 13.0.1.
