Firefox won't uninstall

Posted

I recently switched over to a different browser, and I want to uninstall Firefox. Problem is, neither solution is working. That is to say, uninstalling it from Control Panel didn't work, and neither is the Firefox Uninstall Helper. Something tells me that just deleting Firefox files from my computer won't solve the problem...Can I get some help on this?

Manual removal instructions start here: Even if the uninstall fails, as it may in some cases, continue on with the rest of the uninstall instructions.

Question owner

My problem isn't that the uninstaller won't uninstall it. My problem is that the uninstaller program won't start in the first place. As it is now, it is impossible for me to remove Firefox.

When that is the case, it is time to manually remove Firefox using the continue on with the rest of the uninstall instructions.

Install an older version of firefox then try to uninstall it. The older version should replace the newer one.
