Firefox won't start

There's no crash ID; Firefox won't open at all. I followed recommendations and identified a crash ID using Finder dated 3/28/2012

That old crash report from March is about PDF Browser Plugin.

Being it so old would suggest that it doesn't apply to the current crashing problems.

Can you open Firefox in Safe mode?

Am unable to open in Safe mode. Still get the Quit Unexpectedly window (see below)
