maybe the theme installed fine in the background and firefox just needed a restart in order to apply it.

What is it that you are trying to install?
Hey John, I was trying to install a new them and I kept getting a notification saying that FF was blocking it and when I'd click 'Allow' nothing happened but when I went back to my homepage, suddenly the new theme was there. Thank you for taking the time to write and I'll click this resolved. But, wonder why this occurred? I'm such a foolish novice with computers, I need people who know more than I on these things. Thanks again, Leeflea.

Do you mean this?
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

Dear cor-el, I can always depend on you to 'read' my mind and realize how stupid I am with computers.( Certainly not that you are stupid ) but yes, the first part of your communications is correct!! Thanks, I'll do as you say. Paalam( I'm being uppity as I have a friend on the Philippines who taught me this meaning 'bye'. I don't know if it's Tagalog or Ceauamo. Leeflea
i have heard of friend!
Oh, cor-el, I just checked the first part of your mail and the "...redirect..." isn't checked. What now? Leeflea
Hey MozillaFoxfire9, if you are speaking of me, indeed, it is true. Leeflea.
MozillaFoxfire9, amongst others, you and cor-el are very good at your great advice. Leeflea.
MozillaFoxfire9, I wish you would figure out a way to get rid of Babylon. Y'day, I had to 'medicate' myself whilst trying to get it off my computer. Don't know how it got there. Finally, had to call ATT. Leeflea.
cor-el, you are a saint. thanks, Leeflea.
well, go to about:config, type babylon in search bar, change addresses to whatever you want, set values 0 and true/false false.
there are other ways, but that is how i did it.
Thanks MF911, ( sorry to abbreviate but I've been on this blasted contraption most of y'day and today and my fingers have had it. ). Leeflea.
