I hope Firefox will continue to work. I would hate to have to switch to something else if it decides to crash on me.

I think I'll get rid of Yahoo toolbar, since Yahoo themselves do not even bother to answer this question.

The bothersome part is that, it USED to work perfectly. All of the sudden, stopped. That's why I thought it was Firefox updated the culprit, but nothing seems to fix it. After re-installing from Firefox, it seems to work until I turn my computer off and nothing works the next day. Frustrating!

Thanks for your help and suggestions. If you or anyone can think of something else, I'm all ears!!!!

Have you checked that all your plugins are up to date? See here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/k2012-05-29T20:31:21-07:00eddychttps://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/928063#answer-337225
Have you checked that all your plugins are up to date?

You should also try clearing the cache to see if that helps.

I suspect that this is an issue with the Yahoo toolbar rather than Firefox. There are a number of user reviews complaining about various problems on the add-on page. Unfortunately yahoo don't seem to offer support for the toolbar product (other than yahoo answers). It might be worth asking there as well if none of the above works.

If after trying all of this you can't get it to work then let me know. There may be other features in Firefox that you can use to cover the same functionality that the yahoo toolbar gives you. What particular features do you like about it?

Where are you installing the yahoo toolbar from? I know various people have had problems with versions knocking around on the internet. This one seems to work: http://uk.toolbar.yahoo.com/ (UK) or http://us.toolbar.yahoo.com/ (USA).

Also please check that all of your themes and extensions are the most up to date version. Sometimes out of date themes can cause problems. If you are using a theme it might also be worth disabling it to test if that solves the problem.

I hope that helps. Post back if not.
