I've been using Firefox for years, but now Firefox 12.0 doesn't open. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. What should I do?

Hi Cesaralves,

Glad to hear you succeeded. I believe it just means that you open the folder in windows explorer and copy the profile files in.

I hope that has solved your problem. Post back if you still can't open firefox.

Thanks, Edward. I'm trying to solve the problem with the instructions of the article Firefox will not start. In the page Recovering important data from an old profile, section Copying files between profile folders, I'm having succes till 3. Right-click on a file you want to copy and choose Copy. But I'm failing miserably with 4. Open the new Firefox profile folder. I don't understand it, since 1. Open your profile folder: leads to the old profile folder. How can I open the new Firefox profile folder to where I should paste the old data file?
