Thank you! Problem solved.
A report in bugzilla was filed. Bug# 752161
Modified
This has been fixed on Mozilla's side in Bug# 752232
It tries to use https://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/ and then gave a error instead when redirecting to https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/
Many Mozilla pages that were on mozilla.com have since been either changed to or is being redirected to mozilla.org and sometimes issues have arisen.
Thanks!
Ok, I chose chose this option.from ricksterto: easy fix; type about:config in the address bar fiind plugins.update.url change the value to: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ Do we have to change anything back now??? Thank you.
Hello ricksterto, thanks for the fix, easy fix; type about:config in the address bar fiind plugins.update.url change the value to: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ but do I need to change anything baack now ??? thank you.
The server redirect from mozilla.com to mozilla.org has been fixed (Bug 752232), so there is no longer need to modify the plugins.update.url pref, but it won't hurt to leave at set to the correct mozilla.org domain.
Ok, Thank You ;-)
