My previous version of firefox had a button for sending articles to my kindle. How do I get it back?

Chosen solution

Thanks for trying to help. The solution that worked was to go back to the previous version of firefox. By doing this I was able to install the kindle addon.

Go to Firefox Tools on top bar select Ad dons from drop down and do a search top left corner for Kindle and pick one of the the kindle reader ad don's which should duplicate the button you had previously

I guess your problem is that after Firefox update some Kindle addon was disabled because it is not compatible with new Firefox version. So what can be done about that:

  1. 1 You can wait until new compatible version of addon will be released.
  2. 2 If you don't want to wait you can install Addon Compatibility Reported and enable your Kindle addon in Addons Manager.

I followed your instructions, but there was no kindle addon.

I guess what you are looking is Readability addon (it should work ok with lates Firefox, it works ok with lates Nightly) if you have it already try to reinstall it.

I get several addons found when searching for Kindle in Tools/Addons: and I attach a screen shot off them below. They all say they will send web content to a kindle. This is in Firefox's most current version

On screen shot is displayed what addons can be installed, not the ones you have installed already (installed addons ane one tab lower). Just install any of this addon and it should work.
