Mozilla Firefox has no 4 channels: Firefox Nightly - the one that is worked on and the one that gather patches. (Firefox 13). Firefox Aurora - more stable, features are worked on (Firefox 12). Firefox Beta - includes (Firefox 11) all that was stable at the end of January . Firefox Release - final version, stable sent out. (Firefox 10) . After the beta build is tested and is signed off goes to release Firefox

For users it is best to instal Firefox. If you want to Contribute to Mozilla, Install Beta and play with it.

There's 5 mainline channels now (not counting the 4 or 5 development channels, like UX, Ash, etc. that are parallel to the Nightly channel), ESR was added when Firefox 10 was released on Jan 31.
