I just opened firefox and all of my bookmarks are gone. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Where did they go and how can i get them back?

I haven't seen anyone have this problem in ages. The Recover lost or missing Bookmarks article should help.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
