Received last nights Firefox updates, give me back what I had!!!

Firefox did it's own update last night, as usual. Today, it is slow, and hiccups, occassionally freezes and is unresponsive, and my brown Firefox edging is gone, my bookmark menu tab is screwy and basically, I want to go back to my Firefox before the updated. Plus do I really need all these plug ins?
