Is it possible to import Word documents (not websites) (stored in "Favorites" in Internet Explorer on my old computer) into Firefox's "Bookmarks" on my new computer? Or any way to email them to my new computer & then somehow save them in "Bookmarks?"

On my old computer I used Internet Explorer for my browser. In their "Favorites" I was able to save both websites & Word documents. When I got a new computer I chose Firefox for my browser. I then imported my "Favorites" from the old computer to the new one into Firefox's "Bookmarks." When I was done, all the websites transferred over, but the Word documents did not. My son said he thought it might be that "Bookmarks" is only set up to save websites, not Word documents. I s there any way to save or import Word documents into "Bookmarks?" I know I can save them under "Documents," but I like to have all my information about a specific topic in one place, under one main heading, like I was able to do in "Favorites" in Internet Explorer. I am thinking of changing back to Internet Explorer for that reason only, but thought that before I did, I would check to see if there is a way.
