After upgrading to Firefox 9.0 beta many of tthe websites I visit look strange and some don't function as they should; how do I ditch this version and revert to Firefox 8?

I recently allowed the automatic upgrade to Firefox 9.0 beta. Many of my frequently visited websites appear strange and often don't respond as they should (buttons don't work or are missing, strange fonts etc). How can I uninstall this version and revert to the previous version that seemed more stable? What is the latest 'fully functional' (ie, NOT beta version) available that I can use, please? I'm running WinXP SP3 on an Intel dual core machine with ZoneAlarm Extreme Security.

Sorry, Swanarva, It didn't work as it was supposed to. I downloaded, saved file, clicked the download to open, clicked 'run' then got an error message that it couldn't find the file(!) . No idea what happened or why. Should I have uninstalled Firefox first, then downloaded Firefox 8 using another browser or downloaded, uninstalled Firefox 09 beta then tried installing Firefox 8?

At this rate, IE is looking good, despite its shortcomings.
