How to put a tab for Thunderbird inside Firefox?

I'd like to be able to open Thunderbird from inside Firefox and have Thunderbird reside on a tab there. Now to use Thunderbird, I have to open a separate window. Maybe I just didn't set it up correctly when I installed it? Both applications work well (and seamlessly).

I don't want another program. I just want to be able to open a tab for my existing Thunderbird inside Firefox. I'm not smart enough to figure out what that answer pointed to. And none of the Thunderbird icons that I have point to a location. When I browse and find Thunderbird, there is no location on my computer that I can find. Sorry, I'll just continue to use two separate windows.
