What is a latest version of Firefox?

I'm using 2 versions of Firefox (with 2 different users): 

  - 3.6.23
  - 7.0.1

As I see, the latest version is 7.0.1, but when I check manually for updates on Firefox 3.6.23, than.. no updates found. I'm just interested, is it still supported? Can I just delete it already?
