I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.20 on Mac OS 10.3.9. It displays "?" for some Japanese characters. I have tried all character encodings for Japanese under the "View", but it makes it worse or stays the same. I have researched that Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the latest version work well with Mac OS 10.3.9. I can't upgrade the OS either because of the compatibility with other programs. I'm not certain if it's true, but I saw a post saying Firefox 2.0.0.1 displays Japanese characters correctly. I haven't tried installing Firefox 2.0.0.1 because I don't want to overwrite my current Firefox. I've also read that there may be a plug-ins for displaying Japanese characters. I'd like you to suggest the best solution for the problem.
