why does firefox crash when i am trying to use the google search function?
I use Windows 7 and have Firefox 3.6.23 installed. I have no problem with most websites, but Firefox crashes every time I try to do Google searches. So far this issue is only happening with Google.

If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.

I am not sure what getting the crash report number is going to do. I still cannot access google using mozilla. it crashes every time i try to do a search. my OS is Windows 7 and I am not having this problem with other webbrowsers.
See below. If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it.

This report also contains technical information about the state of the application when it crashed.
What you posted above is not a crash report but data about your setup like installed extensions (I see two Java Console extensions: 6.0.24 and 6.0.26) that is added to the crash report.
You can type about:crashes in the location (address) bar to see which reports are submitted.
I found the crash reports I have submitted. There are over 25 reports since I started using Mozilla. One of the recent ones is bp-e03faa85-2d21-421f-baef-b2c302111018
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. I am beginning to suspect some kind of virus.

Are there any plugins running on pages where that happens?
I also see some McAfee plugins loaded, so you can try to disable those to see if that helps.
