FF not displaying YT vids in Gmail

I get Youtube emails from users that I subscribe to when they upload new videos (I use Gmail). When I open these emails, the video that they've uploaded normally appears in the email and I can watch it from there. As of today, the video fails to load in the email. At first I thought this was a Gmail problem and so I opened up Gmail in the Chromium web browser but everything worked fine from there. Also, Youtube videos load and play fine in Google Reader and at their website. I use FF 3.6.23 and Ubuntu 10.4. Any idea as to what's going on here?
