Does that only happen on one specific website?

Can you post a link to that page?

Does that site support Firefox 6 and Linux?

fafsaed.gov its a student loan website

It has been reported that the FAFSA site only works with Firefox 3.6.x and not with later releases like the current Firefox 6 versions.

You will have to do a (custom) install of the latest Firefox 3.6.x release.

Make sure that you create a new profile for that version and a desktop shortcut to start that Firefox version with it's own profile by adding -P "<profile_name>" to the command to launch Firefox.

used user agent firefox 3.5 solved the problem thanks for your response
