I was wondering why after updating, even though firefox is closed, it will come up saying I need to close it or restart computer, then it says netscapedispatchwnd won't close?

I close the browser and when I later try to open Firefox, about 7 out of 10 times it will pop up saying it's already running so I need to either close it or restart my computer. Since it's not running, I have no choice but to restart and when I try, it pops up with netscapedispatchwnd won't respond so I have to click on end program now. This never happened before the updates. Is this an issue with Firefox?
