new monitor put on yesterday and now I cannot get into my bank accounts

I bought a new monitor for my desktop computer yesterday (8th Sept) and plugged it in and it seemed OK but then tried to do internet banking and it will not allow me to open either bank site - I tried 2 banks that I use - work and private. It opens the home pages but will not go to internet banking log-in. One bank it opens home page and I click on log-in and it immediately goes to log-out. the other bank will only open on home page and nothing opens.
