searching using google spits out random characters. Example below after searching the letter j.

Hi,

my google search has always worked perfectly but recently it is just giving a page of random characters. This happens both on the quick search icon and from google.com. Google is still working fine using Safari?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
