In FF 6 what happened to the ability to save all open tabs under one bookmark?

Running FF6 on my PC and FF5 on my netbook. Neither seems to have the option to save all the open tabs under a single bookmark. What happened to this option? It's very useful when planning travel, for example, when all accommodation options can be collected under one bookmark. There doesn't seem to any reference to this function in any of the Help articles either. Thanks.

That item is also present in the Bookmarks menu in the menu bar.

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).

You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.

  • "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
  • "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

Ah ha! That's what happens when you get used to one way of doing things, in my case with the mouse. Not only did I learn the answer to this particular question, but also a strategy to use if similar problems arise. Thanks.

Add code to userChrome.css below the @namespace line.

You can use the ChromEdit Plus or Stylish extension to have easier access to the customization files.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

/* Always show menu entries with class="show-only-for-keyboard" */
#navigator-toolbox menuitem[class="show-only-for-keyboard"] { display:-moz-box !important; }

This is definitely wrong - in FF 6 this menu item is not existing. Please delete this misleading post, thanks.

I was referencing the answer of finitarry - I do not understand why there is a reply link below every answer, if the reply is just added at the bottom of all replies.

Maybe it depends on what platform you use? I am using Mac Firefox. I have no Wiindows PC to test any more.
