I have an acer one netbook and after installing an update Firefox needs more than my whole screen to display which is uncomfortable. Please help!

I have to use the browser in the restore down option because if I go ahead and use it in the "complete" way It gets bigger than my screen. Like when a web page is not well designed and you need to scroll down, up, right, left to look at it complete. My winodws taskbar also disappears and I need to use the Windows key to restore it and use it. This happened after an update from Firefox Please help!
