Japanese IME text input in google.com (English) edit box does not work with Firefox (invisible until pressed space or enter), but works fine with IE and Chrome.

Go to google.com, be sure to have U.S. google page (as it switches to local version of Google, if in another country).

If Google has redirected to a local site, then click 'Google.com in English'.

Switch keyboard to Japanese (Microsoft IME) and start typing hiragana. The input is completely invisible, until a spacebar or enter is pressed.

Try this input in the firefox search bar to see how it should work properly.

This works fine with google in IE and Chrome.
