Firefox asked me if I wanted my Yahoo login page automatically filled in every time I log in. I mistakenly answered "yes". I now realize I don't want this. How do I stop it?

Firefox asked me if I wanted my Yahoo login page automatically filled in every time I log in. I mistakenly answered "yes". I now realize I don't want this. How do I stop it?

Chosen solution

To unremember a password, do the following: Go to Tools > Options > Security > Saves Passwords. And remove the site and passwords that you don't want firefox to remember.

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

Firefox will remember new form data when entered.
