The getting started video kept referring to and showing the pointer on the "Firefox Button" up in the left hand corner of the page. I don't have this button, please help me get it?

Right click on a toolbar space and uncheck Menu Bar. You can toggle from one to the other.

If you are really serious about Firefox, you could work through this -
