I cannot get Firefox 5 to run on my old Mac. Firefox 4 ran fine. I keep getting a big circle with a line thruogh it on the icon

Chosen solution

Neither Firefox 4 nor 5 is compiled to run on a PowerPC processor, only Intel processors. Sorry about that.

You can download Firefox 3.6 from here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older

Alternately, there's an unofficial Firefox 5 for PowerPC Macs. You can read about it here:

Plus for Firefox 4.0 and newer it needs to be at least OSX 10.5+ when you appear to have 10.4.11
