The browser freezes constantly. Gives a message that firefox is not responding. Is there anyway to go back to a version that works?

I am using Firefox Beta. It is constantly freezing up. Gives an error message that Firefox is not responding. Is there anyway to use an earlier version that works? Or possibly a fix for this one?
