Firefox appears tobe blocking certain AOL.com home page links?

Cannot open Market Quotes/My Portfolio

Message reads "Transferring data from b.aol.com" or "o.sa.aol.com" and the request just hangs with no response; appears to be blocking the transfer of data/page...Internet Explorer browser for same application works OK but does warn me I'm going to an unsecured area...used to work seamlessly ...possible security blocks from Firefox 5 or updates to XP Service Pack 2?
