How come every time a minimized window touches a corner or edge of my desktop, it automatically maximizes?

I have used Firefox for a long time, and I love it. I have reverted back to the 3.6.18 because I totally dislike everything about the 5.0 series. This is my question. I sometimes have a couple of things going in minimized windows. When I move one of those windows around, if it hits a top edge or corner of the desktop, it automatically maximizes that window. How can I disable this feature, it drives me crazy!?

I get that in MS Word and Outlook, too. It's a Windows 7 feature.

To turn that off, drill down in the Control Panel:

Control Panel > Ease of Access Center > Make the mouse easier to use

Check the box for "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen"

OK that and test again.

THANKS SOOOOO MUCH! I've been trying to get rid of that forever. I appreciate it!

I'm glad you asked, or I probably would have just gone on living with it.
