I am having this issue too. Mostly with Fox News, but some others too. Most sites load fine, but the slow ones sometimes take 40-60 seconds to load each page.

Try switching to a legitimate news source (vs. the GOP propaganda site), I'm sure that will help immensely.

I am not a Fox News fan whatsoever, but since you are complaining about it, so I went there and it loaded perfectly for me, and every link loaded right away. So instead of saying there's a "conspiracy", you should look at the settings of your Firefox.
