firefox version 5.0 will not sync my desktop bookmarks to my Motorola driod X phone mobile firefox version 4.0.1. Phone is connected ( last update: in progress pressed sync now on phone the button sync starts the sync but nothing ever xfers

Thanks kbrosnan; I had my phone connected to my PC for a little over 16 hrs, I would think that should be long a nuf to do a sync.

Firefox Sync doesn't sync directly from one device to another, it works thru the Sync Server over the internet. You first need to "sync" the primary device with the Sync Server, and then "sync" the secondary device with the data on the server.
