Why does my homepage get set to "http://search.entru.com/?s=21982" when I enable more than two add-ons in Firefox 4?
Whenever I enable more than two add-ons (not counting "AVG Safe Search") my homepage is automatically set to "http://search.entru.com/?s=21982". I am able to set it back to something else, but upon restarting firefox, it once again is set to "http://search.entru.com/?s=21982". I've tried clearing my cokkies/history/cahce/etc, re-installing firefox, various different homepages, and resetting my hompage to the firefox start page (default). Nothing other than disabling nearly all of my addons seems to resolve this.

Install "Adblock Plus" extension
- subscribe to EasyList US
- add the following two filters
Add the following to your Windows hosts file if you have one
127.0.0.1 www.searchqu.com
127.0.0.1 search.entru.com

Uninstall the following two extensions
- AVG Safe Search, directions can be found in Problematic extensions
- AVG toolbar
There is nothing wrong with "AVG Free" antivirus software, but you want to reinstall AVG Free without the "Link Scanner Component" to eliminate "AVG Safe Search" which is a disaster. You'll probably have to check out the other extension on Grisoft's site yourself.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
