I have ver. 4.0.1 and a lot of the web sites, facebook and twofor tea do not display the active paarts and some of the graphics. How do I a simole user fix this?

Ver 4.0.1, Windows 7 32 bit, intel dual core PC, On facebook the top left doesn't show the words Messages, Friends request, notifications and other pass over words. on a new web site twoifbytea.com the main image in the center and the background do not appear. Most sites that have fill in information and blocks like this page do not display all the graphics.

I have java (TM) extension and it shows as enabled
