I have 2 Laptops running Vista 64 bit. Both recently stopped opening the Firefox window at launch. I can see firefox in the task manager Process window but not in applications I can shut down the process but every time I launch the window fails to open.

Laptops are from Asus running Vista home premium 64bit And a Toshiba running Vista Home Premium 64 bit I've tried Firefox safe mode and the same thing happens. Firefox will however launch in windows safe mode with networking. The problem happens with either Firefox 3.6.17 of 4.0.1 if I go back to 3.0.10 firefox runs without any problems. I've tried disabling all features and clean installs on the 3.6 and up versions without success. I am back to using 3.0.10
