I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Mozilla/Firefox, but I can't copy and paste. Is there some place I need to confiure the Control and C keys?

I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 15 laptop and I'm using Mozilla/Firefox. However, I can't copy and paste. I usually use Control and C or Copy from the File menu. Is there someplace I need to go to configure my hot keys for copy and paste and other key shortcuts.
