mcafee does not seem to exempt firefox from its firewall although itr is on the list of exemptions. I turned the whole firewall off for a few minutes, but trying to enter firefox again brought me the question if I want to accept an external intrusion by firefox. When I say yes, the browser works. But I have to do that everytime I want to use firefox. using the internet explorer does not show that problem . I have also read your article 'Configuring McAfee Security Center' and followed it through. But your article suggests that mcafee never accepts firefox to access the internet. That does not seem to be my case.
