If you installed a 4.0beta version, you are on the Beta Channel, and will get notifications of a new beta version being available for installation. Firefox 5.0beta2 became available this past week, so that's why you are getting that notification now.

If you installed a 4.0beta version, you are on the Beta Channel, and will get notifications of a new beta version being available for installation. Firefox 5.0beta2 became available this past week, so that's why you are getting that notification now.
