Every time I start up Firefox the PluginChecker loads in addition to my home page.

In tools/ startup "show my home page is selected". There does not appear to be anything else but the URL for my home page in the homepage URL window in tools/start up. Other related problem: If I do not have "history cleared when Firefox closes", all the previous tabs open next time I start up. (I do NOT have "show my windows and tabs from time" selected.) If I have history kept, and open and close a bunch of times, I will get the screen filled with one home page and as many plugincheckers as I closed down with plus one.
