I get the error message "Prop Res DLL not loaded" when I click the "Properties" button on the print dialogue box (printer is a Lexmark Z705).

I was advised to copy the printer driver files to the system 32 folder. I am confused about which printer driver files to copy. In \WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 there are a lot of files some of which I was told to copy to the system 32 folder and the error would be repaired. However, which files do I copy and paste?

Wh0 advised you to copy those files?

I do not remember.

So what do I do exactly? Please spell it out in step by step detail if you would because I am not accustomed to working with files on my computer/hard drive. Thanks. Eric.

Sorry, the exact names of those files will vary depending upon the model of the printer being used. That seems to be a pretty common problem with Lexmark printers that goes back a number of years, it seems to have caused similar problems in a variety of programs.

See this Google search about that error message and the fix for it.
If that doesn't help you, try using Lexmark support.

You may have a different file LX??PRPR.DLL that you need to copy from the C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\W32X86\3/b> folder to the <b>System32 folder.
