I have already installed Firefox 4 but my Firefox 3 isn't upgraded to Firefox 4.

So, I have downloaded Firefox 4 to upgrade my browser. I have already installed it but every time I open Mozilla Firefox, it is still in Firefox 3; so, that particularly means that my browser still hasn't upgraded. I have no idea why it isn't upgraded. So, I already tried restarting our computer and when I open Firefox again, it's still in Firefox 3 mode.

This site says you posted with the latest version. You can verify your current Firefox version most accurately by using

Help > About Firefox

It's possible that you are seeing the old Firefox start page, which is a Google page with Firefox skinning. The new Firefox start page is an internal page called about:home. The old page hasn't yet been (and might not be) updated to Firefox 4 awareness, since it is no longer the default.

Does that seem to fit with what you're seeing?

Thanks! It's just that my browser doesn't seem to be upgraded with all the good stuffs or features that Firefox 4 has. I apologize, I'm 15. I'm a bit lazy to read some things that are posted online. It's just that I want things to be done in a hurry or in a snap.

There could be some differences between features on Windows XP and features on Vista/7. I haven't researched that carefully, but I think you don't get the orange "Firefox" button automatically on XP. You can switch from the menu to the Firefox button by right-clicking after the menu and unchecking it on the popup menu.
