I've just updated to Firefox 3.6.17. When I try to open up a new tab by pressing the button on the right of the existing tab, nothing happens.

Un-install the Ask Toolbar, which has been reported to cause this problem. It is the responsibility of Ask to fix the problem with their toolbar. Click on "More system info..." to the right of your original question to see your User-agent which indicates that you have the Ask Toolbar installed.

  • Your User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/20110420 AskTbX-SD/3.11.3.15590 Firefox/3.6.17
