Firefox hangs when I try to load Facebook for the first time after starting my computer

Whenever I switch on my computer, open firefox & try loading facebook, it hangs for several minutes and only then it is back to normal. This happens only with firefox 4, the other editions worked fine!

Please help me, else I'll be forced to switch to google chrome.
