Windows 7, FireFox 4: Firefox 4 automatically resets as default browser every time the computer is restarted even though the options have been checked in firefox and internet explorer to prevent this. How do I stop this

Windows 7 / Firefox 4: The default browser automatically gets set to firefox 4 every time my computer is restarted.

Selected the option in Internet Explorer as the default browser and unchecked the option in the firefox 4, but when the system is restarted, firefox has been reselected as the default.

Please don't ask me why I don't want firefox as my default browser. The issue is how to keep it from automatically being reset as the default broswser
