A "Recently closed tab" now replaces an existing open tab?
In the previous version of FF, it recreated a new tab, but when I just tried it, the closed tab replaced an existing tab in my browser. Both were on the same website, was that why? This was not what I wanted -- I did really want it to reopen the closed tab while leaving the existing one alone.
Chosen solution
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

OK, I reopened in safe mode mode and the problem went away, so that a reopened tab would open in a new tab rather than taking over the current tab.
I turned off half the add-ons and it was still working correctly.
I turned on each of the disabled add-ons and tested after each one. It kept working.
So, presently, I have all of the original add-ons enabled and the problem is still gone.
Very strange, but I am happy. Thanks!
